Why not contribute to the neatest brony charity album around, Replanting Appaloosa, and help us get some kind folks back on their hooves?” Haha, thanks Braeburn. We’re looking for musicians and artists with an altruistic streak to help us assemble and promote this album. I think we can do a lot of good, but only with your help! What is Replanting Appaloosa? We’re a charity album set up to help those affected by the Waldo Canyon fire, and other natural disasters. All proceeds will go to the Red Cross. What is an acceptable song to submit? Any genre is acceptable, but please feel free to evoke the beauty and heritage of the rocky mountains. Hateful material will obviously be ineligible. How can I contribute? Get in touch with DerpyGrooves on tumblr or else Skype (Handle: KenjiBeast). We also have an MLR thread that will be checked regularly. Keep in mind the submission deadline is not set in stone at this point, but we’re aiming at having all songs in by August 5th with a release set before Everfree NW. After going home, I found some of the people I met at Bronycon on Tumblr, and I found out a few of them had a rather ‘unsavory’ interest in ponies. Yet, it made me realize that it did nothing to change the fact that those few were still some of the nicest and friendliest people I had ever met.
